Reflect on your passions in life. Then answer the following questions:
What is your passion? (something you do on your own, something that offers you intrinsic rather than extrinsic reward).
What have been your experiences with this passion?
Where would you like to take it? How would you like to stretch your knowledge, skill, experience, impact with or through this passion?
Right now one of my only passions that I can think of, off the top of my head, has to be thrill seeking. It's about pushing your limits and seeing how far you can go. Even if I'm afraid I use that to fuel my the rush and go for it.
Since pre-school I remember climbing on the monkey bars and hanging upsidedown till my face got hot from the blood rushing to my head, and I'd swing. And I remember scaling the rock walls of my house to see the veiw from my roof and feeling the force of the winds tugging at my t-shirt as I take a glimpse down and feel the adrenaline running through me. My heart just races every time.
I remember going parasailing for the first time with my cousin Jamie, it was so cool! It was when I was in eighth grade.
Honestly, I really don't know where I'd take this. I really just watch the travel channel with my mom and see the people have fun and say out loud "One day, I'm gonna do that."

Cassandra: Journal 27 - 28
Cassandra
Can you hear me?
You believe me, don't you?
Not a day goes by
that someone walks past me and my muted yells
Unable to hear the words that I speak
Unable to hear the sincerity in my voice.
I walk my path alone and ignored,
as if I was preaching the words of a dying city
begging for someone to listen to me.
"The wooden horse will be your downfall"
"This is the day that Troy will die"
Insight was her gift, the gift of Apollo
She had no reason to lie, she spoke the truth
Yet, no one believed her
I have seen things, heard things, learned things.
I have no reason to lie, I speak the truth
The question is,
Would they believe me?
I wasn't really happy with my other poem so I decided to do somemore reasearch late at night a few days ago and came up with this. I hope you like it.
